Somewhere between madness and monsters

Louie’s Well is a dark and unsettling tale about isolation, bullying, and the fragile grip on sanity. Louie lives a lonely life, trapped in a body he resents and haunted by the cruelty of his family’s past

Somewhere below the surface, madness waits for Louie.

Louie has lived his life imprisoned by his nearly 600 pound body, while being smothered beneath the crushing weight of self hate and suffocating isolation. The only thing deeper than his despair is the old well rotting on his land, a relic tied to his family’s tragic past. Now Louie believes it might be his only way out. A voice comes from the darkness below, calling him to its edge. It is Louie’s long dead brother Ben, who speaks of the underworld, where Thread monsters steal your memories and prey on the tired, trying to out-tag them during their puncher games that blur the lines between life and death. Driven by desperation and a gnawing jealousy, Louie must confront his own demons so he can descend into the abyss of the family well, hoping to find freedom, his brother, some adventure, and even salvation. But beneath the earth, twisted Thread monsters await because nothing is what it seems. Louie’s Well is a haunting fantasy of darkness, self betrayal, and the fragile hope that binds us. A story that is not easy to forget because the biggest monsters are not always the ones who lurk in the shadows, and sometimes, love is not enough to save us.
